I am a Researcher and Current Student in the Department of Biology and Chemistry at Reed College. My research is focused mainly on autonomous sensors, specifically applied to trace DNA in the environment.
Recently I have built a variety of autonomous stealth vessels that travel on land, air, and sea, taking vital measurements and samples of animal populations. Currently I am assessing the accuracy of positive DNA sensing to population size.

I was lucky enough to see the launch of the NASA’s GRAIL mission and have presented at several team meetings. One of my driving goals is to be an investigator on a successful space mission.
